The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.housesatsagaponac.com\/Architect_images-rev\/Hariri\/Hariri.htm\">official site<\/a> lists the house at 5000sf. According to <i>Record<\/i>, product placement (!) helped keep construction costs down to a reasonable $250\/sf. Allowing for, oh, $750,000 for site acquisition and prep, carrying costs and fees, that means the markup is still a cool $1 million.
